History: |
| Kristopher Rauch was brought
up on Deep Space Nine and educated by Keiko O'Brien. Rauch's religious
beliefs were heavily influenced by the Bajoran xulture that surrounded
him during his mother and father's posting on this installation. As a child
he showed great promise in all the fields for science as well as martial
arts. He currently holds a three rings standing in the Vulcan Martial Art
of T'chal. Rauch also won the Young Cochran Prize for science when he wrote
a paper on "How Warp Travel Affected Crew Morale, Performance and Biochemistry." |
| Family: |
| Father is currently serving
on U.S.S. Farragut as executive officer, while his mother returned
to Earth to continue her work as a geneticist. |
| Academy
Training/Service Record: |
| Advanced Applied Engineering,
Advanced Tactical Training, including advanced shuttlecraft techniques
during engagement, as well as Tactical Maneuvers on a starship. He
also took the advanced piloting course. In his third year he voluntarily
took classes in Warp Physics and Ship Power Distribution systems. Although
Rauch's main field is Linguistics, he can speak fluent Vulcan, Klingon,
and Terran. He has also studied one of Earth's first languages, Latin.
At his mother's request Rauch took a short field medics course before finishing
his third year at the Academy. Then in his fourth year he took an extension
course in exobiology emergency medicine. His first posting was on the U.S.S.
Enterprise-E where he was a helmsman on Gamma Watch. Rauch then was
transferred to Starfleet Intelligence when his telekinesis developed. After
a year in Starfleet Intelligence he applied to the U.S.S. Astoria,
as he believes that is where his fate lies. |

| Rauch has a keen interest
in holography, taking the advanced extension course in Engineering Holography.
He dreams of one day programming the perfect diplomat which links into
the Universal Translator. |

Abilities: |
| Kristopher Rauch's heritage
and genetic make-up puts him in a unique position - he has a telekinetic
ability that highly interested Star Fleet Intelligence; his telekinetic
ability only showed through when he turned 18, and it is believed that
he still has some further development to come across. His telekinesis however
does have an Achilles heel - his ability is severely hindered by high energy
fields such as transporting and force fields. Rauch also has other psychic
abilities that usually come with his species background, such as empathy,
telepathy and mind-melding. Although he is part Vulcan he does not withhold
emotion but still attains a very logical mind. |
